Feasibility Study & Due Diligence

Feasibility Study

Executing a properly done feasibility study prior to the inception of a project will ultimately save your company significant dollars.

“A feasibility study is a preliminary study undertaken before the real work of a project starts to ascertain the likelihood of the project's success. It is an analysis of possible alternative solutions to a problem and a recommendation on the best alternative. It, for example, can decide whether an order processing be carried out by a new system more efficiently than the previous one.”

A classic feasibility study contains six areas “Economics, Technical, Schedule, Organizational, Cultural, and Legal”.  We focus on Technical, Schedule and Organizational.

• Technical – Does technology needed for the system currently exist, will the technology be exceedingly difficult to develop and once the technology is in place can the current team utilize the system.  Can the current team, if required, build the technology.

• Schedule – Is the planned schedule for the technical development and implementation realistic, will the implementation significantly interfere with current business operations.

•Organizational – Will the overall team, including management, sufficiently support the new system to be implemented successfully and completely?  Will the new system bring such and an excessive amount of change that the organization can absorb it.

Due Diligence

We have conducted many technical / business due diligence proceedings over the past decade. As many of these situations are confidential and business-sensitive, we prefer to discuss our role in these activities and your requirements in person.  Regardless of the diversity of each situation, we follow standard templates and provide timely feedback to our clients.
